Biography
Isaac Mutunga is an accomplished Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional and telecommunications expert with a strong background in infrastructure projects and rigging. He has demonstrated exceptional expertise in workplace safety, risk management, and compliance, making significant contributions to major projects across World, East Africa and Kenya.
Isaac holds a First Class Honors degree in Environmental Studies, IDiPNEBOSH Level 6 Diploma- UK, 7 Distinction International UN Diplomas & Over 100 professional certifications in EHS, reflecting his academic excellence and dedication to professional growth. His commitment to safety and health was recognized when he won the AfriSafe Professional of the Year award, Michael Adamsons Schorlaship-UK, and recognised by many Telecommunication Companies for excellent work, a testament to his impact in the field.
He is a Practicing member of British Occupational Safety and Hygiene, NEMA Registered Environmental Expert, Member Environment Institute of Kenya among other global bodies. He has worked as an EHS Manager for International, Regional, National and Local Companies in Kenya , where he played a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations in a high-risk construction environment. His experience also extends to the telecommunications sector, having worked as a EHS Specialist in Telecommunication Sector, where he gained hands-on expertise in network infrastructure (design, planning, implementation, commissioning and decommissioning) and high-altitude installations.
With a passion for occupational safety and infrastructure development, Isaac continues to champion best practices in EHS while leveraging his technical knowledge in rigging and telecommunications.
